Engineering your Future! is a week-long, hands-on event, aimed specifically at Transition Year students who have an interest in Science and Maths and designed to introduce them to the world of Engineering.

The event, hosted by the UCD College of Engineering & Architecture and supported by STEPS, offers 40 Transition Year students the opportunity to -

Learn about the disciplines & technologies making up the exciting world of engineering
Perform experiments in the UCD engineering laboratories
Meet engineers at work
Meet with engineering students, to gain their perspectives on what they study
Talk to postgraduate students conducting cutting-edge research in Biomedical, Bioprocess, Biosystems, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering
Hear from recent graduates about their careers

Time: 09:30 - 16:00 (daily)
Location: On the UCD Campus, in Belfield, Dublin 4
Admission: Participation is limited to 40 students.
50* to cover all materials & lunches, as well as transport to/from the site visit (*waived for students from DEIS schools)
Age Group: 2011-12 Transition Year students
